Denise Davis is a physical therapist who earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Master of Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach. She began her career at UCI Medical center in 2004 in the acute setting and has gained experience working in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit, Outpatient Burn and Wound Clinic, and Lymphedema clinic. Currently, Denise primarily works in the Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic at UCI where she treats orthopedic, lymphedema, and neurologically involved patients.
Denise became involved in research with the Neuromuscular Clinic in 2008 and continues to be an active Clinical Investigator for several research studies for rare neuromuscular diseases. She serves as the primary physical therapist for the GNE Myopathy Clinic and secondary physical therapist for the ALS and Myasthenia Gravis clinics.
